Keimfleck MANDALA bracecuff collection uses bright-coloured edge paint to mimic the vibrant style and intricate linework of Tibetan Thangka art. Mandala is a sacred imagery originated in Buddhism and Hinduism. In Sanskrit, Mandala means "circle" or "center." It is a microcosmic representation of the dwelling of deities, symbolizing the cosmos structure, sacred space, and the path of spiritual practice. Mandalas are usually depicted as symmetrical geometric patterns, often used in ceremonial functions and meditation practices, and are studied as esoteric symbols to uncover the arcane knowledge they represent. In ancient Tantric practices, people would build a circular or square earth altar at the practice site to ward off external and evil disturbances. Therefore, mandalas are also believed to have protective and purifying powers, serving to dispel negative energy and bring inner peace and tranquility.
